No No No No No

OK now we all know that most women, especially those of us that are lucky enough to be mammies just don't do the 'sick' thing very well! I have far too much to do to make time for being ill especially this week....I've important crafty stuff to do to get ready for my weekend! Crafteire is this weekend coming up and I've nothing ready and what do I do....wake up today with the dreaded tummy bug that Dagan so nicely brought home last week! He was sick last Tuesday, or maybe it was Wednesday??? Now I don't remember but anyway I guess that means that this bug has about a weeks incubation period! Oh well, I'm very happy that I wasn't sick for this last weekend. We took the kids to High School Musical on Ice and had a great time, the kids were thrilled. It would have been horrible if I had felt like this on Sunday so for that I'm grateful. And now after laying around all day, drinking water as best I could and puking a few times I think I'm on the mend. If it is what Dagan had last week then by tomorrow I should be pretty much back to normal, God willing! Now I need to figure out what I want to work on this weekend, find papers and embellishments and ribbon and pictures and find any other bits and bobs, knowing that I will forget at least a few really important things...it's inevitable! Thankfully I'm only going about 30 minutes away so worst case I'm Ty would be sweet and bring me something if I really needed it. The kids are already making me feel guilty with their little 'I sure am going to miss you mammy'. I'll miss them too but I sure am looking forward to the weekend and I really hope that I get more done than I did last year. I'm only taking one class this year, of course it's a master class and is two parts but I think I will be able to work more this time. I'm so far behind that I really need to do a lot to get even partially caught up.

I doubt I will post again this week so I will post up what I do get done next week...until then....

Been very crafty lately

It seems like forever since I've actually worked on something besides the layouts for my monthly classes, and even that was difficult to get done at times. Been having 'scrappers block' I suppose. I'm not sure how many times I've sit down at my craft desk and nothing happened! It's very frustrating when you really want to work and goodness knows I stay so far behind I'll probably never catch up, so then why is it I could nothing...well I have finally gotten something done. I was fortunate enough to get to go to a crop on Sunday so that helped too...all these layouts are all for the kids individual albums. Its a lot of work doing things separately for them but it is so worth it when their faces light up and smile ear to ear when they look at their books.






Ok, so that's the lot! I'm very proud of myself and the work I have finally gotten done. Maybe I'll keep this up and actually get a little more caught up, just a little bit. I have another big scrapbook weekend at the end of the month and I'm really hoping to get a lot done. Check back for more updates...but that's it for now. I've a sick kiddo home from school today and I better go check in on him.

Emma's Bday Pics finally

I don't know why it's taken me so long to get these up on the blog, but here they are at long last...Emma's 7th Birthday party pics. I don't have too many as I didn't check with the parents of the other girls about putting pics up on the internet. Anyway, she had a great time playing and getting her face painted. Her present from all of us was tickets to go see High School Musical On Ice at the end of February. She is counting down the days!!! She was so excited and can't wait to go! I'm sure we'll have loads of pics from that day as well...I'll try to get them up on the site quicker!

Well I've gotten a flu or something similar and have felt terrible the last couple of days. I'm doing better now tonight but just still very tired...so that's about all I'm gonna do for tonight...more later when I'm feeling better!
